What is SSY elastic fiber?

SSY elastic fiber is a PET side-by-side composite spinning fiber, a bicomponent polyester fiber, which uses the different shrinkage of the bicomponent to form a permanent elastic crimp structure.

SSY fiber has almost no elasticity like ordinary polyester yarn before processing, but after high temperature dyeing and washing, it will produce permanent curl, which will make the fabric elastic. It has excellent elastic elongation and elastic recovery rate, and this elastic force is stable and has good recovery. Does not age as easily as spandex. It is a new type of elastic fiber developed for the limited application of spandex in textiles.
